Description

Manage and maintain critical production database environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of database systems.
• Manage Amazon Redshift clusters, workloads, and performance metrics.
• Implement and maintain database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Diagnose and resolve database issues, performance bottlenecks, and service interruptions.
• Support database deployment, upgrades, and migration activities while ensuring security compliance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience as a Database Administrator in a production environment.
• Strong experience with Redshift monitoring, performance tuning, and workload management.
• Hands-on experience with SQL scripting, query optimization, and database maintenance.
• Understanding of the AWS ecosystem and Redshift architecture (clusters, nodes, WLM, snapshots).
• Experience in backup/recovery processes, high availability, and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for high-pressure production environments.
• Proficiency in SQL, Redshift, and AWS.
