You will manage and maintain NoSQL databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and manage database solutions on AWS cloud platforms.
• Develop and execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Automate repetitive database administration tasks using Python or Bash.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize queries, indexes, and data models.
• Monitor database health and analyze performance metrics using tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on NoSQL.
• Proven experience administering MongoDB clusters, including replication, sharding, and tuning.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based database management, preferably AWS.
• Strong understanding of database backup, recovery, and high availability.
• Experience automating operations using Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting systems for database health.
• Experience in DevOps/CI/CD environments using Terraform or Ansible.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Knowledge of additional NoSQL databases beyond MongoDB.
