Description

You will manage the security, integrity, and performance of database environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and implement policies for database security and integrity.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and upgrading of database server software.
• Manage and test backup, recovery, and archiving procedures.
• Perform regular performance tuning, capacity monitoring, and SQL query optimization.
• Monitor systems to ensure secure services with minimal downtime.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration and support in complex environments.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL or other NoSQL databases.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with database security, backup, recovery, and replication.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux/UNIX environments.
• Experience with reporting tools such as SSIS or SSRS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data technologies and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Certifications in database management.

Education: Any Graduate degree.
