Description

You will design, maintain, and optimize the company’s database infrastructure. Your primary focus is ensuring data integrity, performance, and availability across Oracle RAC, SQL Server, and MySQL environments. You will partner with application developers to refine schema designs and resolve complex query bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade DBMS instances for Oracle RAC, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Monitor system performance, tune SQL queries, and implement indexing strategies to optimize throughput.
• Design and maintain database schemas, ensuring alignment with business logic and data standards.
• Develop and deploy PL/SQL code, patches, and automated maintenance scripts.
• Collaborate with development teams during code reviews and schema design phases.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in database administration and management.
• Expert-level proficiency in PL/SQL coding and complex SQL query tuning.
• Hands-on experience administering Oracle RAC, SQL Server, or MySQL in production environments.
• Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and schema standards.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues and implement data management policies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
