Description

Manage and maintain Azure SQL Databases, ensuring high availability and performance optimization.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve performance.
• Perform query tuning, schema adjustments, and index optimization to enhance efficiency.
• Support cloud migration efforts, including data movement and synchronization between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Assist with disaster recovery, backup, restore, and security measures to safeguard data assets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
• Proficiency with the Azure Cloud Platform, including multi-region configurations.
• Strong skills in query performance tuning and database monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
• Knowledge of replication and Change Data Capture (CDC).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB.
