Description

Manage and optimize MS SQL database environments to ensure data integrity and high availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage MS SQL installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop, optimize, and debug SQL stored procedures to meet business requirements.
• Perform database performance tuning by optimizing queries, indexes, and other database objects.
• Execute backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures to maintain data availability.
• Monitor databases to proactively identify performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience as an MS SQL DBA.
• Expertise in MS SQL database administration and maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL stored procedures.
• Proven experience in database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with database monitoring, backup, and recovery workflows.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting functional errors and complex database issues.
• General understanding of storage technologies and networking.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
