Description

You manage and optimize SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability and zero data loss.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Tune performance for maximum resource utilization using PerfMon, PAL, and PS-Diag.
• Build and troubleshoot SQL Server Clusters, implementing high availability via Replication, Log Shipping, Mirroring, and Always On.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell 3.0/4.0, create SMO objects, and patch SQL Servers to resolve issues.
• Create, manage, and troubleshoot SSIS packages and administer SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Recover databases from real-time DR situations by restoring Master Databases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and MSSQL.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Scripting expertise in PowerShell, Bash, Python, and C.
• Experience with Azure and Azure SQL Databases.
• Knowledge of HCL, YAML, and Linux environments.
• Experience with AWS and GCP SQL services.
• Familiarity with SQL Profiler, Query Analyzer, and BIDS.
• Practical use of Redgate Compare, Solarwinds, and Tableau.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hadoop, Dremio, and Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge of EMC Networker and DDBoost.
