Database Administrator

You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for modernizing the database reporting environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to identify data sources and tables supporting existing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Analyze and convert complex SAS programs into optimized SQL code for Power BI integration.
• Document current data processes and recommend automation or efficiency improvements.
• Build and maintain sustainable data pipelines focused on clarity and performance.
• Leverage Power BI tools to support data modeling, development, and visualization.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server database support across multiple collection environments.
• Proficiency with Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and PowerBook tools.
• Strong experience with SQL Database ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SAS and SQL Data Modeling.
• Ability to translate legacy code and debug ETL/data transformation processes.
• Experience working with 35+ collection and 100+ analysis databases.
• Clear communication when interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
