Description

You will manage SQL Server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery compliance, and 24x7 operational stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation, patching, upgrades, and maintenance of database systems.
• Monitor space allocation, calculate disk requirements, and adjust DBMS parameters for capacity changes.
• Configure and execute database integrity checks, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
• Troubleshoot functionality, connectivity, and downtime issues using alert logs and trace files.
• Execute scripts to create and modify database objects, including tables, views, constraints, and indexes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Database Administration experience, specifically with SQL Server 2016 and upwards.
• Expertise in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Experience implementing Transparent Data Encryption within SQL Server.
• 3+ years of experience creating, updating, and maintaining systems documentation.
• Proficiency in database troubleshooting and monitoring tools.
• Ability to follow and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures.
• Experience managing database jobs and scheduled processes in production and test environments.
