Description

You will manage and maintain database systems in a production environment, including migrations from Sybase to SQL Server.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain database servers on Unix, Solaris, and Linux platforms.
• Troubleshoot database issues across various environments.
• Execute database migrations, specifically from Sybase to SQL Server.
• Administer database infrastructure within virtualized environments.

Required Skills

• 4-5 years of experience with Sybase and SQL Server.
• Strong proficiency with Linux and Unix operating systems.
• Experience managing database servers in production.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Expertise in SQL Databases.
• Proven track record of migrating databases between different systems.
