Description

Manage Microsoft SQL Server environments to support the migration, management, and storage of tolling-related information.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server instances and database systems.
• Develop and manage ETL processes between SQL databases to handle data movement and transformation.
• Monitor database storage, utilization, and performance to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate with SAP SLT engineers to manage data flows from SAP into SQL Server.
• Implement standards for database security, data modeling, and disaster recovery.

Required Skills

• 6 years of experience managing production migrations for both data and systems.
• 6 years of experience creating and managing ETL processes.
• 6 years of experience developing scripts, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and constraints using MS SQL Server and Oracle.
• 6 years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining database systems.
• 5 years of experience optimizing database performance through tuning techniques and tools.
• Proficiency with SQL, data modeling, and understanding SLT data flows pulling from SAP.
• Ability to use source code control, automated testing, and deployment approaches.

Preferred Skills

• 3 years of experience in data modeling.
• 3 years of SAP experience, specifically focusing on SLTs and Data Services.
