Description

Manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise-level Oracle databases to ensure data integrity and high availability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement logical and physical database models, including relational models and data dictionaries.
• Perform performance tuning and monitor database resource utilization, such as memory and record distribution.
• Execute security, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to protect against hardware and software failures.
• Manage user access levels and implement database search strategies and storage requirements.
• Coordinate database changes, including loading, reorganizing, and testing in dedicated test environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration or computer systems analysis.
• Expertise in managing Oracle for enterprise databases with high availability (HA) configurations.
• Proficiency with PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Guard and GoldenGate.
• Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with database utilities for monitoring, performance tuning, and data storage management.
• Ability to perform data modeling, prototyping, and benchmarking.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
