Description

Manage and optimize SQL and Oracle database environments to ensure high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and tune database performance to ensure optimal execution of SQL code.
• Design and implement data extract, migration, and queuing facilities.
• Manage logical and physical database design, including tablespaces, rollback segments, and data files.
• Execute database migrations and version upgrades.
• Develop and maintain server-side components including triggers, stored procedures, and packages.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration and management.
• Strong expertise in MS SQL Server (2012 and higher).
• Deep understanding of relational database design (Relational and Dimensional) and data concepts.
• Proven experience with Oracle and RDBMS-specific middleware tools for monitoring, migration, and replication.
• Proficiency in SQL programming and code optimization.
• Hands-on experience with database deployment, recovery techniques, and DDL management.
• Demonstrated ability in database performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of database normalization techniques.
