Description

You will manage and optimize database environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and automate MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Big Data clusters with replication solutions.
• Tune database instances and OS configuration parameters to improve application performance and report execution.
• Automate database and application code deployments using DevOps tools.
• Secure data clusters by implementing authentication, authorization, encryption, and capacity scheduling.
• Ensure data availability, scalability, and consistency across all nodes.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience managing Hadoop, HBase, Spark, and Kafka.
• Strong Linux administration and Shell Scripting skills.
• Programming experience with Python.
• Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS or GCP.
• Hands-on use of Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or a related field with 1 year of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with 5 years of experience.
