Description

You will manage and maintain database systems and security protocols as part of a project team.

Responsibilities

• Test programs and databases to identify errors and implement necessary modifications.
• Modify existing database management systems or direct programmers to execute changes.
• Plan and implement security measures to protect information against unauthorized access or damage.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and identifiers.
• Coordinate database development within project teams to define scope and limitations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• 2+ years of direct experience in database administration.
• Proficiency with Data Modeling and Performance Tuning.
• Experience with Object-Oriented Development (OOD).
• Knowledge of Operating System Software and Database Management System Software.
• Experience with Backup, Archival, and Metadata Management Software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to travel to various client sites across the USA.
