Description

You will manage database infrastructure across Public and Private Cloud platforms for internal stakeholders. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end database support, including monitoring, incident response, and resolution to meet SLAs.
• Execute backup and recovery procedures, log examination, and access rights management.
• Oversee structural maintenance, including storage management, object management, and physical layout.
• Perform patch management by identifying, testing, and applying security updates and support packs.
• Drive observability through centralized platform monitoring, alerting tooling, and automated runbooks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server.
• Experience managing databases in AWS environments.
• Experience managing databases in Azure environments.
• Strong SQL skills for database management and querying.
• Experience with CloudWatch alerts and monitoring.
• Knowledge of incident, change, release, and problem management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting DevOps practices by helping development teams take on database operations responsibilities.
