Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of SQL Server environments and data migrations to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer SQL Servers, including the creation of high availability groups.
• Migrate databases to AWS cloud storage and manage server, disk, and patch configurations.
• Design and develop SSIS packages and manage the deployment of SSRS reports.
• Monitor database performance, test threshold values, and resolve connectivity issues.
• Perform capacity planning, database upgrades, and data migrations.

Required Skills

• Experience with SQL Servers and SSMS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud storage and migration.
• Proficiency in designing SSIS packages and SSRS reports.
• Ability to manage operating system, disk, and patch configurations.
• Knowledge of database security and performance monitoring.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to unanticipated US locations on short notice for extended periods.
