Description

You will design, optimize, and lead database infrastructure for PostgreSQL and MongoDB systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable PostgreSQL and MongoDB architectures.
• Lead end-to-end database migrations with minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Tune performance through query optimization, indexing, and resource allocation.
• Manage security controls, access policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and define database strategy.

Required Skills

• 8+ years hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership capacity within database roles.
• Deep understanding of database architecture, including partitioning and high availability.
• Extensive AWS experience for management, monitoring, and HA setups.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of Ansible and Lambda for automation.

Preferred Skills

• Proven track record of executing complex database migrations.
