Description

You will manage, develop, and test MongoDB databases across multiple teams and clients.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain new databases and configuration management systems.
• Execute backup and recovery procedures and manage database installations.
• Optimize database performance and implement high availability setups.
• Modify procedures and documentation to improve problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
• Implement security protocols and monitor systems using Cloud Manager, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in database administration.
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL concepts and MongoDB architecture.
• Hands-on experience with replica sets, sharding, and the aggregation framework.
• Proficiency in query optimization and indexing.
• Experience with data modeling for document databases.
• Knowledge of backup strategies using mongodump, mongorestore, and Ops Manager.
• Skill in automation using Python or Shell scripting.
