Description

Manage and optimize database technologies for the DB Operation Team, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define best practices for database configurations, optimization parameters, and high availability.
• Manage space estimation, backups, and restore solutions across environments.
• Establish monitoring and health check parameters for production and non-production systems.
• Collaborate with global teams to identify production risks and implement solutions.
• Build and maintain a central technical knowledge base for the DBA team.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of production DBA experience on MS-SQL, including replication and DR methodologies.
• 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or NoSQL technologies.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Oracle RAC.
• Proficiency with pgBackRest, Patroni, pgBouncer, and pgpool.
• Experience with RMAN and logical replication solutions like GoldenGate or Debezium.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience building automation for database activities and implementing cloud solutions on PaaS/DBaaS.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or Redis.
