Description

You will manage, develop, and test databases across multiple teams and clients.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain new databases and configuration management systems.
• Install database management systems and update procedures for problem resolution.
• Execute backup and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and high availability.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Deep knowledge of MySQL architecture, including InnoDB and MyISAM storage engines.
• Proficiency in SQL and database normalization techniques.
• Experience with MySQL replication, including Master-Slave and Group Replication.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL databases, including partitioning, sharding, and replication.
• Competency in PostgreSQL backup and recovery using pg_dump and pg_basebackup.
• Scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or PL/pgSQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database troubleshooting and complex performance tuning.
