Description

Manage, monitor, and support Oracle database environments across OCI, AWS, and on-prem platforms. Design hybrid architectures, ensure high availability, and lead cloud migration initiatives.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle 11g-23c databases, including multi-tenant CDB/PDB, RAC, and Data Guard configurations.
• Design and manage Oracle deployments in OCI (Autonomous DB, Exadata) and AWS (EC2/RDS).
• Implement RMAN backup strategies, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions to meet RPO/RTO targets.
• Tune SQL, PL/SQL, and database configurations using AWR, ASH, and OEM for optimal performance.
• Develop automation using Shell, Python, Ansible, and Terraform to integrate database operations into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise Oracle database support.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL background.
• Proficiency in Linux (RedHat or Oracle) and Shell scripting.
• Deep understanding of Oracle internals, including process, memory, storage, and ASM management.
• Experience with OCI and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, Python.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-powered database features and LLM integration.
• Familiarity with data governance, cataloging, and lineage tools.
