Description

Manage and support Oracle and SQL Server databases, including administration, programming, and incident resolution for the plant IT portfolio.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Collect user requirements and design system alternatives for new and existing applications.
• Develop and correct code for local applications using approved programming languages.
• Troubleshoot systematic problems and coordinate incident request resolution.
• Document disaster recovery and software validation procedures.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of IT infrastructure experience covering servers, networking, and desktop support.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and Oracle Database.
• Experience programming in VB.NET, C#, HTML, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with SQL.
• Competency using Visual Studio.
• Ability to translate complex problems into manageable tasks with measurable requirements.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, hardware, technical feasibility, and security issues.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
