Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL database environments, ensuring high availability and performance across Linux-based infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Perform backup and recovery operations using RMAN and pg_dump.
• Tune database replication and optimize complex queries for performance.
• Manage Linux-based database server infrastructure and user access.
• Develop scripts and automation for DevOps support tasks using Shell Scripting.
• Monitor system health and resolve incidents using tools like Nagios and Zabbix.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of DBA experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and PL/pgSQL.
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
• Proficiency in Linux server management.
• Experience with tools such as pgAdmin, psql, AWR, and RMAN.
• Competency in Shell Scripting for automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Fintech, Telecom, or high-transaction systems.
• Exposure to cloud databases like AWS RDS or Oracle Cloud.
