Description

Manage and maintain Oracle database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle 19c databases, including RAC, Grid Infrastructure, and Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Execute data migrations, upgrades, and patching activities with minimal downtime.
• Configure and maintain Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for environment monitoring.
• Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and implement backup and recovery strategies using Commvault and RMAN.
• Collaborate with architects on enterprise solutions and support development teams to automate deployment pipelines.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Expertise in Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, and Data Guard.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Oracle GoldenGate.
• Proficiency with AWS RDS, Oracle RDS, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS, shell scripting, and Cron jobs.
• Solid understanding of database security and compliance standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Commvault backups and RMAN.
