Description

You will administer and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL database environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage database backups and recovery using RMAN and pg_dump.
• Tune database replication performance.
• Optimize complex SQL queries.
• Manage Linux-based database servers.
• Develop scripts and automation for DevOps support.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of DBA experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and PL/pgSQL.
• Experience managing Linux database servers.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios and Zabbix.
• Proficiency with tools including pgAdmin, psql, AWR, and RMAN.
• Experience with Shell Scripting for automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Fintech, Telecom, or High-Transaction Systems.
• Exposure to Cloud DBs like AWS RDS or Oracle Cloud.
