Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL database environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Perform backup and recovery operations using RMAN and pg_dump.
• Tune replication and optimize complex database queries.
• Manage Linux-based database servers and provide DevOps support through scripting.
• Automate routine maintenance and monitoring tasks.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of DBA experience specifically with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and PL/pgSQL.
• Experience with pgAdmin, psql, AWR, and RMAN.
• Competence in Shell Scripting for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios and Zabbix.
• Experience managing Linux-based database servers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Fintech, Telecom, or high-transaction systems.
• Exposure to Cloud DBs such as AWS RDS or Oracle Cloud.
