Description

You will manage servers and data repositories to support multiple digital products. You will own the availability, reliability, and integrity of production application databases.

Responsibilities

• Administer AWS and Linux servers, including schema creation, role maintenance, and security.
• Monitor database costs through usage reviews and query optimization to provide reduction recommendations.
• Manage database replication between Snowflake environments.
• Design and develop code, scripts, and data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Troubleshoot database issues and configure system automation alerts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration, performance tuning, and design.
• Expertise in SQL and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with AWS and AWS Server Administration.
• Hands-on Linux Server Administration.
• Experience with Apache Airflow.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of ETL processes and tools.
• Knowledge of Aftermarket data.
