Description

You will manage, migrate, and maintain Oracle database infrastructure across AWS cloud environments and on-premises systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Oracle databases from on-premises to Amazon RDS and EC2 using expdp and RMAN backups.
• Implement Golden Gate unidirectional and bidirectional replication for reporting databases.
• Define and implement HA/DR solutions using Oracle Data Guard and Oracle RAC for mission-critical applications.
• Perform RAC installation and patching across single and multiple node configurations.
• Execute backup and recovery operations using RMAN with full, incremental, and cumulative backups.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency in Oracle 12c, 11g, and 10g.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Guard, RAC, ASM, and Golden Gate.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell scripting.
• Experience managing SQL Server and MySQL environments.
• Familiarity with RMAN, expdp, and backup/recovery workflows.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Control (OEM), Quest tools, and Oracle Portal.
• Working knowledge of EMC Avamar, NetBackup, TSM, and Footprint SM9.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Windows 12c Cloud Control.
• Proficiency with WinSCP, psftp, and putty.
