Roles and Responsibilities:

• Administer PostgreSQL and support day-to-day database operations, availability, and performance monitoring.
• Set up and manage MongoDB replica sets and sharded clusters in production environments.
• Perform MongoDB upgrades and refreshes, ensuring minimal downtime and validated recovery.
• Configure and manage MongoDB backups using Ops Manager, including operational readiness and restore testing.
• Support secure access using X.509 authentication and troubleshoot database performance issues.

Skills Required:

• 7-12 years of relevant database administration experience
• Postgres SQL administration and operational support
• Linux operating systems administration and troubleshooting
• MongoDB administration including replica sets and sharded clusters
• OpsMgr for MongoDB backup configuration and MongoDB Ops Manager operations
• X.509 authentication experience and secure access management
• unix shell scripting for operational automation and maintenance tasks
• DB migration experience to cloud environments

Good to Have:

• Kubernetes exposure for database-related deployments and operational workflows

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
