Description

You will administer PostgreSQL and MongoDB environments, ensuring availability, performance, and secure operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer PostgreSQL for day-to-day database operations, availability, and performance monitoring.
• Set up and manage MongoDB replica sets and sharded clusters in production environments.
• Perform MongoDB upgrades and refreshes with minimal downtime and validated recovery procedures.
• Configure and manage MongoDB backups using Ops Manager, including operational readiness and restore testing.
• Support secure access using X.509 authentication and troubleshoot database performance issues.

Required Skills

• 7-12 years of relevant database administration experience.
• Postgres SQL administration and operational support.
• Linux operating systems administration and troubleshooting.
• MongoDB administration including replica sets and sharded clusters.
• OpsMgr for MongoDB backup configuration and MongoDB Ops Manager operations.
• X.509 authentication experience and secure access management.
• Unix shell scripting for operational automation and maintenance tasks.
• DB migration experience to cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• Kubernetes exposure for database-related deployments and operational workflows.
