Description

You will manage Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and disaster recovery readiness.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled disaster recovery exercises for SQL Server environments to ensure compliance with recovery objectives.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve database-related issues in collaboration with application and development teams.
• Advise SQL developers on query optimization, code tuning, and performance best practices.
• Proactively identify and resolve database failures, incidents, and performance bottlenecks.
• Perform root cause analysis for outages and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to Database Administration.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
• Proven track record in performance tuning, backup, and recovery operations.
• Ability to execute SQL code releases and deployments following change management processes.
• Experience providing Level 2-3 global support for application and database platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education.
