Description

You will design and optimize databases for the DMV Data Governance initiative, focusing on DB2 and SQL Server environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design logical and physical data models, schemas, and ERDs.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data ingestion.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and quality assurance.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
• Define data governance standards and test cases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or Data Analyst.
• Strong expertise in DB2 and SQL Server.
• Proven experience in data modeling (logical and physical).
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Proficiency in data profiling and cleansing techniques.
• Ability to design schemas and Entity Relationship Diagrams.
• Understanding of data governance principles.

Preferred Skills

• Local to Raleigh, NC, or willing to relocate immediately.
• Experience in government or large-scale data governance projects.
