Description

You will design and maintain SQL Server database solutions to support business intelligence analytics while managing server infrastructure and data integrity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design new database structures, tables, and relationships using normalization and denormalization techniques.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support data requirements.
• Manage and maintain SQL Server environments, including server management, patching, and regular backups.
• Monitor and troubleshoot agent jobs, SSIS package runs, and query performance.
• Partner with upstream application teams to ensure data accuracy, availability, and timeliness.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a BI SQL Developer or Database Administrator.
• Expertise in SQL Server administration, including management, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and SSIS for data modeling, ETL, and package maintenance.
• Experience managing both OLAP and OLTP databases.
• Ability to analyze query plans and implement schema, query, and index optimizations.
• Experience working with large, complex data sets and dimensional modeling.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data blending, and ELT processes.
• Experience gathering functional requirements and writing design specifications.
• Ability to work within Agile SCRUM methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• 4-year degree in MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
