Description

You will manage and modernize data platforms by handling database migrations and developing data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Support migration of on-prem databases to AWS.
• Develop Python scripts for data generation and bulk loads.
• Build and maintain AWS-based data pipelines.
• Design and support data models.
• Assist application teams using RDS and DynamoDB, including validation and performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in Database Administration, Data Engineering, or similar role (AWS, Snowflake) and Sql server.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience migrating databases from on-premises environments to AWS.
• Strong experience with AWS RDS, DynamoDB, and Snowflake.
• Experience developing Python scripts for data creation, transformation, and data loads.
• Experience building AWS-based data pipelines using S3, Glue, and Lambda.
• Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL database environments.
• Familiarity with version control using tools like Github.
