Description

Manage Oracle database schemas, designs, and extensions across development, test, and production environments on Linux and AWS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage Oracle database instances on AWS using EC2, RDS, and S3.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate for batch and online process synchronization.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform tuning for high-volume application systems.
• Execute database backups, restores, and disaster recovery solutions including Oracle DataGuard replication.
• Collaborate with developers to refine data requirements, table design, and SQL writing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle database administration within an enterprise environment.
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development on Unix/Linux platforms.
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3).
• Proven experience with Oracle GoldenGate for high availability and replication.
• Strong skills in schema design, access patterns, locking strategies, and SQL tuning.
• Proficiency in shell scripting languages.
• Experience with Oracle DataGuard and system storage planning.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations and weekend work.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cúram Software and its database schema.
• Knowledge of Oracle Data Masking and Subsetting.
