Description

You will manage and maintain a centralized data platform using Snowflake.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the centralized data platform using Snowflake.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose Snowflake database errors, engaging with support for outages.
• Implement user and query log analysis, alerts, and data encryption or masking policies.
• Review project requests to estimate time and cost for database requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to support user needs and provide technical mentorship.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in system or application database administration.
• 1-2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience supporting databases in Azure or AWS cloud environments.
• Ability to migrate databases from on-premises to cloud.
• Proficiency in index design, query plan optimization, and analysis.
• Familiarity with database tools such as SSMSS, Toad, or ER/Studio Data Modeler.

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake knowledge and Snowpro Core Certification.
