Description

You will manage database environments and information systems architecture on a part-time basis (8:00 AM to 12:00 PM PST).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, monitor, and maintain database structures and software applications.
• Direct multi-system projects by assigning segments to staff and contractors and reviewing work for accuracy.
• Develop long and short-range plans, policies, and procedures to meet organizational goals.
• Analyze organizational needs to implement cost-effective data management solutions.
• Assess new technology developments and automate data management environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Extensive knowledge of DB2 on z/OS and AIX.
• Expertise in SQL construction and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with z/OS, OMVS, CICS basics, utilities, and RACF.
• Proficiency in dataset and Access Control.
• Experience with AIX security, scripting, and monitoring.
• Ability to manage connectivity between DB2 z/OS and SQL-Server, WebSphere, Cold fusion, Business objects, LUW, MS-Access, Toad, and Oracle.
• Degree in any field (Any Graduate).
