Description

You will manage and maintain database platforms to support system development projects and functional designs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage database development in support of System Development Projects.
• Perform data modeling and provide consultation for RDBMS development.
• Evaluate and recommend DBMS products to support systems functional design.
• Develop and maintain database platforms including SQL Server, Oracle, UDB/DB2, or Sybase.
• Implement database organization, physical models, indexing, and tuning methods.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of IT experience including database design, data modeling, and administration.
• 3+ years of SQL experience using Microsoft SQL Server, UDB/DB2, Oracle, or Sybase.
• 2+ years of direct responsibility for database design and normalization levels.
• Proficiency with Oracle, Sybase, Udb, Microsoft SQL Server, or Udb/db2.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft MCSDBA certification or similar Oracle, Sybase, or UDB certification.
