Description

You will own the design, administration, and optimization of core database systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize MongoDB and PostgreSQL clusters for scalability and performance.
• Deploy and manage database infrastructure with a focus on high availability and disaster recovery.
• Lead end-to-end database migration projects, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
• Monitor and tune database performance, managing resource allocation and query optimization.
• Oversee access management, security controls, and compliance across all database systems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL database systems.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of MongoDB and PostgreSQL architecture, including indexing and partitioning.
• Extensive experience with AWS, including management, monitoring, and global database services.
• Proven ability to design and optimize databases for high performance and reliability.
• Demonstrated expertise in database administration: backup/recovery, tuning, security, and compliance.
• Familiarity with AWS automation tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
