Description

You will manage IMS and DB2 database environments within a Z/OS framework, handling administration, troubleshooting, and on-call support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer IMS databases in an IMS/TM environment.
• Manage DB2/ZOS database administration tasks.
• Utilize ISPF/TSO, JCL, and IBM utility tools for database management.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems.
• Participate in a call rotation providing after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call support, including arriving on-site within one hour of notification.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with IMS database administration in an IMS/TM environment.
• 3+ years of experience with DB2/ZOS database administration.
• 3+ years of experience using Z/OS with ISPF/TSO and JCL.
• 3+ years of experience with IBM utility/software tools.
• 3+ years of experience with 3rd party utility/software tools for IMS and DB2.
• 3+ years of experience in problem diagnosis and resolution.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide on-site support in Springfield, IL during on-call shifts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional IBM mainframe ecosystem tools.
