Roles and Responsibilities:

• Administer SQL Server databases across versions including SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012, and 2014.
• Perform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrade activities for SQL Server environments.
• Manage backup and recovery operations, including validation and restore readiness.
• Monitor and maintain database health by running health checks and analyzing reports.
• Support high availability, capacity management, security management, and daily/weekly/monthly maintenance activities.

Skills Required:

• 6 - 10 years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience.
• Ms sql and ms sql server database administration experience.
• Sql server installation and configuration for production database environments.
• Database capacity management and performance/health monitoring fundamentals.
• Backup and recovery management, high availability support, and security management.

Good to have:

• Patching and upgrade experience for sql server instances.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
