Description

You will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL and Oracle database environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server clusters and database servers across Prod, Dev, QA, and test environments.
• Monitor database performance, server health, and space management to ensure optimal operation.
• Execute backups and recovery procedures using Rubrik to meet business Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
• Manage database migrations, upgrades, patching, and the deployment of approved change scripts.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database servers.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and AIX operating systems.
• Experience managing databases within AWS EC2 environments.
• Practical knowledge of Rubrik for backup and recovery.
• Expertise in SQL Server cluster creation and configuration.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience with access management and server health reporting.
