Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle databases across diverse operating systems and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle databases from 8i to 11.2.0.3 on RAC and DG with Observer configured.
• Execute Exadata deployments, including IP acquisition, OEDA preparation, and coordination with Oracle for installations and capacity planning.
• Perform AWR mining to identify performance issues and conduct trend analysis for ETL workflow-related PL/SQL and SQL code.
• Execute database upgrades, patch rollouts, and migrations for data center consolidation projects.
• Maintain DBA design documentation, including policies, processes, and guidelines to meet critical control metrics and SOX audit requirements.

Required Skills

• Experience managing Oracle databases (8i through 11.2.0.3) on RAC and Data Guard.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL for ETL workflow analysis.
• Hands-on experience with IBM AIX, HP-UX, Linux, and Windows Server.
• Experience with Exadata deployment and post-installation tasks.
• Ability to perform capacity planning and troubleshooting for outage resolution.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems with 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with 5 years of experience.
