Description

You will manage and administer Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL database environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and maintain Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL databases.
• Design, develop, and implement backup and recovery procedures, including Oracle RMAN.
• Develop utility programs and scripts for Red Hat Linux and Windows server systems.
• Perform database design, data modeling, and data administration to ensure integrity and security.
• Collaborate with business experts to document infrastructure requirements and establish administration standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Oracle RDBMS (version 11g or more recent).
• 8+ years of experience developing SQL, PL/SQL scripts, procedures, functions, and packages.
• Proficiency in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL internals, data structures, and memory management.
• Experience managing databases in UNIX/Linux and Windows operating system environments.
• Strong skills in writing UNIX/Linux shell scripts and Windows BAT or CMD shell scripts.
• Knowledge of .NET and database network connectivity (TNS, ODBC, JDBC, OLEDB).
• Ability to perform performance tuning by configuring database parameters.
• Experience in data modeling, data profiling, and data cleansing.

Preferred Skills

• 5 years of experience planning and executing data conversion and migration processes.
• Experience facilitating analysis sessions and presenting technical reviews to business clients.
