Description

You manage and maintain critical database infrastructure, focusing on DB2 for z/OS performance, tuning, and optimization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement, and support database structures.
• Conduct database performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization.
• Develop and maintain DBA procedures and documentation.
• Review SQL code and provide technical mentoring.
• Support general database and infrastructure tasks as needed.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in database administration.
• Advanced expertise in DB2 for z/OS, including performance management and recovery.
• Proficiency with z/OS platform architecture and JCL.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server administration and integration.
• Experience with CA GEN model management and ISPF.
• Familiarity with z/OS started task creation and management.
• Experience with verification and testing for infrastructure change management.
• Skills in SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, Azure, JCL, DB2, and z/OS platform architecture.
