Description

Manage and administer complex database environments including DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server, and Oracle, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational activities and database administration for DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, and GIS platforms.
• Plan, design, implement, and support database structures and infrastructure.
• Conduct database performance monitoring, tuning, and SQL code reviews.
• Develop and maintain database administration procedures and technical documentation.
• Assist with training and mentoring other technical staff on database best practices.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of combined experience in database administration.
• Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS, including application integration, performance management, catalog maintenance, and subsystem point-in-time recovery.
• Deep expertise in z/OS integrated platform components: JCL, CA GEN, ISPF, ASG Scheduler, COBOL, RACF, CICS, IOF, and z/OS EXITs.
• Solid working knowledge of Oracle and MSSQL application integration, performance management, and database administration.
• Proficiency with SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, and Azure services.
• Experience with Windows Servers and disaster recovery technical requirements.
• Ability to interpret DB2 and z/OS software monitoring tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FDOT integrated database infrastructure and financial management applications.
