Description

You will manage and optimize cloud-based database environments across Azure and AWS platforms. You own the health, performance, and security of these systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks on Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server and Amazon RDS PostgreSQL instances.
• Evaluate SQL execution plans to optimize costly operations and restructure queries.
• Manage database backups, restorations, and point-in-time recovery processes.
• Execute database migrations and maintain security compliance through periodic checks.
• Monitor system health using CloudWatch and Performance Insights to take corrective actions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server and/or Amazon RDS PostgreSQL (Standard/Aurora).
• Proficiency in managing Azure MySQL and Azure MS SQL databases.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL execution plan analysis and indexing strategies.
• Experience with AWS RDS PostgreSQL and Azure cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with TessellCloud, CyberArk Privileged Access Management, and ServiceNow IT Management.
• Familiarity with Databricks.
• Bachelor's degree.
