Description

You will design, engineer, and deploy database solutions on MS SQL Server.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop migration or upgrade paths for existing databases to new platforms or DBMS versions.
• Build and leverage automation and DB DevSecOps pipelines to provision, upgrade, patch, and maintain systems.
• Manage database change requests and investigate problems across production and non-production environments.
• Monitor capacity, high-availability, and performance to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on DBA experience with MS SQL Server.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and DBMS management.
• Experience with database automation and DB DevSecOps using Ansible, AWS CDK, GitHub Actions, or Liquibase.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle, AWS RDS, or Redshift.
• One year of hands-on experience with database automation tools.
