Description

You will administer and optimize database systems across multiple platforms, ensuring data integrity and high availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create technical specifications and implement safeguards for Azure, SQL, and Oracle database systems.
• Design, implement, and document artifacts aligned with OPS standards.
• Support testing teams during system and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Perform SQL optimization, code reviews, and root cause analysis for performance issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience administering database management systems including Oracle, Exadata, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure.
• 5+ years of experience in database replication or Real-Time data delivery using MSSQL or Oracle products.
• Technical knowledge of Oracle Exadata, Golden Gate, MSSQL, and Azure SQL.
• Experience modifying database structures based on application developer input.
• Proficiency in monitoring, optimizing, and performance tuning using manual or automated tools.
• Ability to develop and interpret highly complex SQL for querying and developer feedback.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate, including designing, deploying, and monitoring replication topologies.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Azure Data Replication, SQL Managed Instance, and Elastic Pool implementations.
• Proficiency in incident response and establishing performance baselines.
